“Earn to Learn FL™ has helped me feel more financially secure so I can focus on my education and succeeding in school.”
Eric, a first-generation low-income student from Immokalee, has defied the odds and low acceptance rates and was accepted at Cornell University, a prestigious Ivy League institution. Although the university provides generous financial aid packages, Eric still works year-round to afford his course materials, the required annual student contribution, and other costs. Because of this, often feels financially insecure, and sometimes finds himself focusing more on working as many hours as possible, rather than on studying.
Eric says he feels much more confident with the support of Earn to Learn FL™, and after learning more about managing his personal budget from the Financial Literacy Training, he can better visualize and plan for his expenses.
