Having data available to members of the task force will be invaluable not only for public education but also for grant applications and program design. It will provide a new, data-driven perspective to an already anecdotally-rich discussion in Southwest Florida. Hopefully, it can also instill in other civilians the deep respect that I have developed for the people in our community doing what they can to help victims of human trafficking.
